All Bank of Georgia Mastercard cards are compatible with CNICK rings.
We partner with banks in several countries outside Georgia. To connect your preferred card to the ring, check our list of partner banks and confirm that your card is compatible.
Once your card is connected, you can pay with the ring anywhere in the world. It works independently and does not need your phone or card nearby. To remove or pause the connected card, or connect a new one, use the mobile app.
The ring transmits its signal through its circular opening. Bend your finger and place your knuckle against the payment terminal, with the ring’s opening facing the reader.
To make a payment, simply tap your knuckle on the POS terminal (not the ring itself) and wait for 1-2 seconds.
Over the £100 the POS terminal will ask you to enter the PIN code, which is the same as your linked card.

To activate payments, connect your Bank of Georgia Mastercard to the ring using the CNICK mobile app.
• Download the CNICK app for iOS or Android.
• After registering, select Connect and hold the ring against the NFC area on the back of your phone.
• Follow the in-app instructions.
• The ring uses NFC technology and transmits a signal over only a few centimetres, so a fraudster would have to get very close.
• The ring transmits its signal through its circular opening. To make a payment, bend your finger and hold your knuckle against the payment terminal in the correct position.
• Payment terminals are registered in the banking system. If an unauthorized payment is taken from your ring, the recipient can be identified and the payment can be recovered.
• The ring uses tokenization for security. Tokenization replaces sensitive card information with a random code, or “token”. Even if someone gets hold of the ring, they cannot retrieve your card details from it. Ring payments are more secure than card payments because the ring does not display a card number that could be used for online purchases.
• Payments above the contactless limit require a PIN. Use the same PIN as the card connected to your ring.
• Download the CNICK app for iOS or Android.
• Select Remove Card.
• Follow the in-app instructions.
You can connect only one card to each ring, but the same card can be connected to several rings.

Yes. You can use the ring wherever Visa/Mastercard contactless payments are accepted, including public transport.
